
Can Wrapsly kitchen wraps be washed?
Yes. Hand-wash your Wrapsly wraps with COOL water and mild soap, though sometimes just a rinse will do. Wash with a soft, non-abrasive cloth. Hang dry your Wrapsly. Avoid exposing Wrapsly wraps to heat, hot foods or hot water.
Are Wrapsly kitchen wraps reusable?
Yes, Wrapsly are reusable for as long as they are still sticky. Depending on how well you care for your Wrapsly, they can last for 1-2 years.
Why are they sticky?
Wrapsly are sticky because they are made with a special recipe of beeswax, jojoba oil, and tree resin. These materials are totally natural and safe for your food, containers, and your hands. If your hands feel sticky after using Wrapsly, just rub it in, consider it a hand moisturizer-Bonus!
Do they keep food fresh?
Absolutely. Wrapsly wraps can actually keep food fresher than plastic wrap. This is due to their unique make-up of breathable cotton and antimicrobial beeswax
What do I do with it when it’s not sticky anymore?
When your Wrapsly wrap is no longer sticky, you can dispose of it by composting the wrap. Because it is made with all natural materials it is safe for our planet and can be composted in your weekly pick-up or dug into your garden. Wrapsly wraps can also make a great fire starter
What are they made out of?
Wrapsly wraps are made with cotton fabric covered in a mixture of beeswax, jojoba oil, and tree resin.
How do I store them?
Wrapsly can be stored in any way that fits your kitchen. We recommend rolling the wraps and placing them in a jar or you can fold the wraps and place them in a drawer. Folding optional, we don’t judge.
Do they leave a residue?
Sometimes you can see a residue left from the wrap, especially when they’re new and really sticky. Don’t worry, the beeswax will not damage any of your glassware and you can easily wash it off with warm water.
Do they leave a residue on food?
Typically we don’t find residue on the food, however, if you do find any you can be assured that the wraps are completely natural and not harmful in any way.
Can I put them in the freezer?
We have used them in the freezer with success, however, we recommend that you use them in the freezer for only a short time because your food can get freezer burned
Can I store raw meat in them?
It is not recommended to use raw meat with Wrapsly wraps. Because you cannot wash them with hot water, you cannot properly sanitize them after touching raw meat.
